Our business uses HDU, a High-Density Urethane board. It is a 15 lb. density
with a ¾”, 1” and 1 ½” thickness and most commonly used is the 1 ½” thickness.
This HDU board will not warp, split, crack or bow like wood. It is 100%
waterproof and will not rot or decompose from the weather. Even in critical
environments, the paint lasts longer and does not flake off with humidity as it
happens with wood. It is highly chemically resistant and has a 10 year warranty.
HDU can also be sandblasted to resemble the look of wood. Please see samples on
